Mobile Detection
We proudly use the mobile device detection script from The MobileESP project, created by Anthony Hand of Hand Interactive
As of this writing, MobileESP detects the following devices:
- Android
- AndroidWebKit
- Archos: Primarily intended for the older non-Android-based video and music players.
- BlackBerry: For all BlackBerry devices.
- BlackBerryHigh: Newer devices with moderate CSS support but poor JavaScript support. Examples: Storm, Bold, Tour, Curve2.
- BlackBerryLow: Older BlackBerry devices with poor CSS and JavaScript support.
- BlackBerryTouch: For touchscreen devices, including Storm, Storm 2 and Torch.
- BlackBerryWebKit: For new BlackBerry OS 6 devices running the new WebKit browser.
