Version Recommendation
Use Construct Community 2.5 if you:
- Are new to Construct and would like to get a feel for how it works. You can always migrate extended layout overrides and custom style sheets to the other versions.
- DO NOT require integrated mobile support.
- DO NOT need the ability to change the layout and add style sheets other than for the entire template.
Use Construct5 Community if you:
- Are new to Construct and would like to get a feel for how it works. You can always migrate extended layout overrides and custom style sheets to the other versions.
- Want HTML5 markup, including HTML5 overrides for Joomla's core components and modules.
- DO NOT require integrated mobile support.
- DO NOT need the ability to change the layout and add style sheets other than for the entire template.
Use Construct Pro 2.5 if you:
- Are familiar with the way Construct works
- Would like integrated mobile / tablet support.
- Would like the ability to change the layout and/or add style sheets dynamically on various levels of the template.
Use Construct5 Pro if you:
- Are familiar with the way Construct works.
- Want HTML5 markup, including HTML5 overrides for Joomla's core components and modules.
- Would like integrated mobile / tablet support.
- Would like the ability to change the layout and/or add style sheets dynamically on various levels of the template.
